The Mary Beth Maddox Award Lecture in Houston, originally scheduled for April 1, 2026, featuring 2026 recipient Maralice Conacci-Sorrell, Ph.D., has been rescheduled for Wednesday, May 13, 2026, from 3:00–4:00 p.m.

Dr. Conacci-Sorrell will present her lecture “Identifying and Targeting Nutrient Dependencies in Cancer Cells.” This lecture is hosted by the Molecular and Cellular Biology Seminar Series in partnership with the Dan L Duncan Comprehensive Cancer Center at Baylor College of Medicine and will take place at the Michael E. DeBakey Center (M112) in Houston.

The lecture is free to attend, and no reservations are required. Please note that lunch will not be provided.

Parking Information: Parking will be available for a fee in TMC Garage 4 or 6. Visitors not affiliated with Baylor College of Medicine (BCM) must check in with security and present an ID for a visitor badge.
