November 2023 Lecture

This November, 2023 Mary Beth Maddox Award and Lectureship Recipient Florencia McAllister, M.D., Associate Professor, Department of Clinical Cancer Prevention, The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, will present her groundbreaking cancer research.
Dr. McAllister will present her lecture, Microbial Matters in Pancreatic Cancer, on her seminal discoveries at the intersection of microbes, the immune system and pancreatic cancer. She will discuss her insights into early detection, prevention and therapeutic strategies to fight the disease.
November’s lecture will be hosted by UT Health San Antonio as part of the Mays Cancer Center Grand Rounds. Details about this lecture will be provided as they become available.
