2025 Mary Beth Maddox Award and Lectureship Recipient Gerta Hoxhaj, Ph.D., UT Southwestern Medical Center, will present her groundbreaking cancer research on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, from 12:00–1:00 p.m.
Dr. Hoxhaj will present her lecture “Metabolic Regulation of Cancer Cell Growth” focusing on nucleotide metabolism and the impact of dietary nucleotides in fueling cancer cell growth.
The lecture is hosted by the John H. Blaffer Lecture Series at MD Anderson Cancer Center and will take place at the Onstead Auditorium S3.8012 in Houston.
