Spirit of Support: Coming Together After Hurricane Harvey

In the wake of Hurricane Harvey, The Academy of Medicine, Engineering and Science of Texas (TAMEST) stands with our scientists and researchers and their organizations as they begin the long road to recovery from this devastating storm.

We are especially grateful to be part of a state that has the well-being of our employees, patients, family and community members at heart when faced with such an obstacle. The level of care and understanding that was seen across so many of our members and member institutions has been truly inspiring.

The stories of collaboration, support and perseverance that have come out of this disaster are what makes our state special. Texas will stay strong, and Texas will recover.
