Mark Your Calendar: TAMEST 2027 Annual Conference Registration Opens Next Week

Registration opens next week for the TAMEST 2027 Annual Conference: Frontiers of Discovery: Exploring from the Quantum to the Cosmos, February 1–3, 2027, at the InterContinental Houston in Houston, Texas.

The program will examine how advances in science and technology at every scale are leading society into exciting new frontiers. Speakers and sessions will explore innovations in the fields of precision medicine, neural engineering, targeted disease therapeutics, deep space exploration, robotics and more.

“Our 2027 conference will bring together leaders in science, engineering, medicine and technology conducting breakthrough research that is shaping the future of Texas and the world,” said TAMEST 2027 Conference Honorary Chair Cheryl Lyn Walker, Ph.D. (NAM), Baylor College of Medicine. “While attendees may not recognize all the speakers for this year’s meeting, they will recognize the magnitude and importance of the problems these scientists and engineers are solving.”

The TAMEST annual meeting will create space for multidisciplinary networking and discussions across four key themes:

• Exploring Deep Space with Robotics: Deep-space exploration, autonomous machines and human-robot collaboration.
• Engineering Light, Matter and Water: Integrated photonics, revolutionary materials and sustainable water technologies.
• Changing Our Understanding of the Universe: Fundamental advances across dark matter, quantum physics and microbiome biology.
